Eldest daughter, named as a beneficiary in her father's Will (1839) as wife of Edward Owens of Tynycornal.


In 1851 Catherine Owens (44) of Talyllyn, widow, farmer of 291 acres, was living in Tyncornel Corris. Present were children (born in Talyllyn): Owen (23), William (21), John (19), Jane (17), Humphrey (9), Robert (7), David (5)

In 1861 Catherine Owen (54) of Tallyllyn, innkeeper's widow, was living in West St., Dolgelley Merioneth. Present were sons (born in Tallyllyn): Humphrey (19), joiner, David (15), cabinet maker, visitor Joseph Owen (28) of Talyllyn, farmer's son, and others.


Catherine Owen of Dolgelley died aged 57 years (burial record).
