In 1861 Catherine Owen (54) of Tallyllyn, innkeeper's widow, was living in West St., Dolgelley Merioneth. Present were sons (born in Tallyllyn): Humphrey (19), joiner, David (15), cabinet maker, visitor Joseph Owen (28) of Talyllyn, farmer's son, and others.
