In 1881 Robert Owen (37) of Talyllyn, unmarried, commercial traveller, woolen, was with his widowed uncle* John David Edwards, vicar of Rhosymedre, at 34 Church St., Ruabon Denbighshire.

* John David Edwards was married to Robert's aunt Catherine Owen.
