In May 1883 Lucy Child was a witness at the marriage of her sister Emily Jane Child to George Dawson in Ramsgate Kent.
At the time of the 1911 England Census Lucy Privett, age 45, born in Clapham Surrey, mother of one child, and husband of 10 years Peter Robert Thomas Privett, age 35, born in Deptford Kent, railway guard, were living in Unwin Cottage, Central Road, Ramsgate Kent. Present were daughter Grace Emily (5) of Ramsgate Kent, mother Emily Child (81) of Hailsham Sussex, widow, brother Herbert George Child (41) of Clapham Surrey, married, engine driver on railway.

DEATH OF ST. LUKE'S WORKER
St. Luke's Church has also sustained a severe loss by the death of Mrs. Lucy Privett, who passed away at her residence, 7, Elmstone-road, early on Wednesday morning.
An active worker for the church, Mrs. Privett, who was 68 years of age, leaves a husband and daughter.
The funeral at Ramsgate Cemetery this afternoon will be preceded by a service at St. Luke's Church.
