Soon after her marriage Jane and her husband William Christmas moved to the parish of Ore, a little under 10 miles south of Ewhurst and just north of the Port of Hastings. There they had one daughter Jane. Her husband died a couple of years later. In the following year Jane remarried in Ore to Thomas Willis. Directly afterwards they moved to Hastings All Saints.
In 1678 Jane's father, Thomas Duke, wrote his Will, bequeathing her 12 pence. Thomas also made a bequest to his granddaughter, Jane Christmas.
In Jul 1704 Jane Willis, relict of Thomas Willis of Hastings, was granted Probate of her late husband's personal effects, which were valued at £11 16s. 3d.
