The Will of John Ross, late of Parkes, N.S.W., Farmer, written 24 Jan 1938, probate 19 Apr 1939.
This is the last will and testament of me John Ross of Parkes in the State of New South Wales, Farmer. I hereby revoke all former wills and other testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will and Testament. I appoint my son John Ross and my grandson George Harold Ross (hereinafter called "my Trustees") Executors and Trustees of this my will. I give and devise unto my daughter Lillian Venables the wife of Frederick Venables for her own absolute use and benefit all that piece of land situated at the corner of Victoria and Bollinger Streets, Parkes and upon which is erected the residence at present occupied by me. I give and devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Trustees upon Trust for all and every my children excepting the said Lillian Venables including my grandson the said George Harold Ross living at my death and if more than one in equal shares as tenants in common.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fourth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight. John Ross.

12th April, 1939. On this date, Probate of the last will and Testament of the Estate of the abovenamed deceased was granted to John Ross of Cunnamulla Queensland and George Harold Ross the Executors named in the said will. Testator died on the 8th day of November in the year One thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight. Estate sworn at the sum of £2630/17/5d nett. 6
