At the time of the 1851 England Census Sarah Spackman, aged 5, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, scholar, was with her parents in High Street, Wootton Bassett.
In June 1865 Sarah Ann Legg was present at the marriage of her aunt Susan Jefferies to William Child in Wootton Bassett (two days after Sarah's marriage). In the same month and place Sarah Ann Legg and [husband] William Henery Legg were witness to the marriage of Sarah's aunt Harriett Jefferies and John Collier.
At the time of the 1871 England Census Sarah Legge, aged 24, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, and husband Henry Legge, aged 27, born in Highworth Wilts, were living at 58 Thomas St., St. Anne Limehouse London. With them were daughter Susan (6) of Wootton Bassett and son Francy (5) of Wootton Bassett.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Anne Legge, aged 52, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, and husband Henry Legge, aged 59, born in Highworth Wilts, fireman, were living at 4 Kirbey? Street, Poplar London. With them was daughter Frances (11) of Poplar.
