SWINDON OFFICER HONOURED.
Military Cross for Capt. A. Reynolds.
Captain Arthur Reynolds, 2/20th Battalion London Regiment, youngest son of the late William Reynolds and of Mrs. Reynolds, The Square, Swindon, has been awarded the Military Cross on the recommendation of General Allenby. Captain Reynolds joined the Army within a week of the outbreak of war, and has served in France, Greece and more recently in Egypt and Palestine. It was during the operations in the latter country that he gained the distinction in question.
