At a meeting of the examiners appointed for the examination of persons applying to be admitted attorneys, held at the Hall of the Incorporated Law Society, in Chancery-lane, on the 13th and 14th November, Henry Horsell, Esq., second son of Bartholomew Horsell, Esq., of Rabson and Wootton Bassett, Wilts, and grandson of the late Captain Horsell, of Wootton Bassett, passed a successful examination and received a certificate, and on the 25th ult. was duly admitted an attorney of her Majesty's Courts of Queen's Bench, Common Pleas, and Exchequer of Pleas at Westminster, and a solicitor of the High Court of Chancery.

Administration of the effects of Henry Horsell late of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, solicitor, who died 13 February 1863 at 13 St. Paul's-terrace, St. Paul's-road, Islington in the County of Middlesex, was granted 13 December at the Principal Registry to Howard Horsell of Purton in the County of Wilts, Gentleman, the acting executor of the will of Bartholomew Horsell, the father, and next of kin.
