Grace [Chesterman]

  • Married: Abt 1643
  • Buried: 9 Aug 1704, Clyffe Pypard St. Peter, Wiltshire, England 1

  Research Notes:

It is likely this is the same Grace Chesterman who, in 1677, was bequeathed £60 in the Will of Thomas Chesterman of Inner Temple London, Gent. Thomas refers to Grace as his sister and in the same sentence made a bequest to his brother-in-law Michael Chesterman. Thomas Chesterman was buried in Clyffe Pypard, in accordance with his Will, on 28 Dec 1677. If it is correct that this Grace was Thomas's sister, then Grace and her husband Michael were cousins of a sort, although the exact relationship is unclear at this stage.
