William Phillips the younger was bequeathed a cow, a flock bed, a bolster, a pillow, two pair of sheets and the best coverlet in the Will of his paternal grandfather William Phillips of Bushton in Clyffe Pypard (1622).

Bequeathed a tableboard and cupboard in the Will of his maternal grandfather (1625).

Eldest son, co-executor of his father's Will (1640)

William Phillips of Clyffe Pypard died intestate. Edith Phillips of Clyffe Pypard, widow, and William Church of Littlecott in Hilmarton, paid bond for Administration of the goods and chattels of the said deceased. Administration was granted to his mother, the said Edith Phillips, on 22 Dec 1643. 3
