In 1608 George Hooper was named in the Will of his mother-in-law Christian Brinsden of Hunt Mill in the Parish of Wootton Bassett, widow, as father of Edith Hooper to whom Christian gave 20 shillings.
In 1611 George Roseyere and [his brother] Edward Roseyere were overseers of the Will of [their brother or uncle] Richard Roseyere als. Hooper, having taken inventory of his goods and chattels on 24 May 1611.
In 1615 George Hooper was a witness to the Will of William Granger of Ham in Clyffe Pypard, yeoman, and in Oct 1618 George, William Phillips (see below) and others took inventory of William Granger's goods & chattels.

Gives to his daughter a feather bed, a bolster, a coverlet, a pair of blankets and a pair of sheets.
Gives 40 shillings to the overseers of his daughter and her children.
Gives to William Phillips his daughter's son his tableboard and cupboard.
Gives to George Phillips his daughter's son his least brass pot.
Gives to Martha Phillips his daughter's daughter his biggest brass pot.
Gives 10 shillings to William Ogborne.
Gives his best dublet to Edward Hooper.
Gives to William Bristow his best . . . . . . .
Gives to John Hancock his brown dublet and his best hose and jerkin.
Gives 1 shilling to Joan Blackman.
Gives 2 shillings 6 pence to William Tompkins.
Gives 1 shilling to each of his godchildren.
Gives 1 shilling to Elizabeth Painter.
Gives 1 shilling to each of the overseers of his will.
All the rest of his goods and effects he gives to his wife whom he makes the executrix of his last will and testament.
Appoints his friends Thomas Brunsden and Edward Hooper overseers of his last will and testament.
