---------------------------
William and his wife Mary were both widowed when they married in December 1635. Mary in her will named as beneficiaries two "sons-in-law" Peter Ogborne and William Ogborne, who by definition were sons of William by an earlier marriage. Presumably William's first wife was the same as Anne Ogborne buried five months earlier on July 10, 1635. Anne was most likely the daughter of George Rosier als. Hooper of Clyffe Pypard named above.
Marriage Information:
William married Anne, probably Anne Hooper, daughter of George Rosier als. Hooper of Ham in Clyffe Pypard,] by 1624. (Anne Ogborne was buried on 10 Jul 1635 in Clyffe Pypard St. Peter, Wiltshire, England.)
Marriage Information:
William also married Mary Chesterman, widow of John Tugwell, daughter of John Chesterman of Clyffe Pypard, on 21 Dec 1635 in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, England 2. (Mary Chesterman was born between 1590 and 1600 in Clyffe Pypard, Wiltshire, England and was buried on 21 Jan 1657 in Clyffe Pypard, Wiltshire, England.)
