In 1766 Catherine Worth was named as a beneficiary in her father's will, to receive £200 when she turns twenty-four.
In 1792 Catherine the wife of Mr. John Kempthorne of the borough of St. Ives, shipwright, was a beneficiary of the will of her aunt Bridget Vivian, widow, receiving £10.
In 1799 Catherine the wife of Mr. John Kempthorne was a beneficiary of her mother's will, receiving an annuity of £5, as well as one silver marrow spoon and five silver teaspoons.
In 1806 Catherine Kempthorne was the sole executrix and a beneficiary of her husband's will, receiving his estate in the parish of Landrake in co. Cornwall, his leasehold premises in the borough of St. Ives.

Gives to her daughter Elizabeth Buckingham Kempthorne, and to her sons James Buckingham Kempthorne and William Worth Kempthorne, all her real and personal property, household furniture, plate &c., to be divided equally between them.
Appoints her youngest William Worth Kempthorne of Neath in co. Glamorgan, watch and cloth maker, and George Bennett of the borough of St. Ives, Gentleman, co-executors of her last will and testament, the latter to act on behalf of her son James Buckingham Kempthorne now in Jamaica.
