Abstract of the Will of John Rowlands of Cadair Elwa in the Parish of Llangybi in the County of Caernarvon, written 7 Feb 1831, proved 10 Mar 1831.
Gives and bequeaths £10 to his servant man Robert Thomas, currently in his employ.
Gives and bequeaths £5 to his friend and servant John Pierce of Ynys Carlia bach in the Parish of Llangybi.
Gives and bequeaths £5 to his servant William Hughes of Terfyn in the same Parish.
Gives and bequeaths £3 to his servant maid Elizabeth Owen of Brynifal isa in th Parish of Dolbenmaen, currently in his employ.
Gives and bequeaths £10 to his sister Catherine.
Gives and bequeaths to his nieces Elizabeth Jones of Scybor hen in the Parish of Llanystyndwy and Jane Jones of Ynysgain fawr all his personal property and all money he can levy on that farm called Cadair Elwa, share and share alike.
Also gives and bequeaths to his said nieces Elizabeth Jones and Jane Jones all his real estate as well as shares in the farms called Erw Turan? In the Parish of Penmorfa and Penbryn in the Parish of Llanarmon and Bryncierch? in the same Parish, share and share alike.
Appoints his said nieces Executors of his last will and testament.
