The funeral took place at Madron cemetery, on Tuesday afternoon, of the late Mrs. Margaret Jane Bant, of 2, Jamaica Terrace, Heamoor. The mourners were: Mr. Edward Bant (son), Mrs. E. J. Burt (daughter), Mrs. George Martin (daughter), Mr. J. Burt, Mr. H. Burt (grandsons), Misses Beatrice and Evelyn Martin (granddaughters), Mrs. A. Stevens (sister), Mr. G. Martin (son-in-law), Miss Grace Stevens, Mr. W. Stevens, Mrs. G. Quick, and Mrs. W. Stevens (nephews and nieces), and Mr. R. Stevens (brother-in-law), Mrs. F. Sowden, beside several other friends and neighbours....
The coffin was of polished elm, and the breastplate bore the inscription "Margaret Jane Bant, died 29th May, 1925, aged 80 years." The Rev. King officiated both at the church and graveside....
