In 1911 Edward Bant, aged 42, born in Penzance Cornwall, domestic gardener, and wife of 10 years Clara, aged 36, born in Falfield Gloucester, were living in Trym Cottage Henbury Road Westbury Gloucestershire. With them were children Howard (15) of Penzance, assistant in stationer's, Gertrude (13) of Penzance, school girl, and Catherine (8) of Redland Bristol, school girl.

In 1921 Edward Bant, aged 50, born in Sancreed Penzance, gardener, and wife Clara, aged 45, born in Falfield Gloucestershire, housekeeper, were in Trym Cottage Henbury Road Westbury Gloucestershire. With them was daughter Catherine (19) of Clifton Brisol, servant.

In the 1939 Register Edward Bant (b. 22 Dec 1868), gardener, and wife Clara Bant (b. 22 May 1874), domestic duties, were living in Bunsall Farm, Kingswood, Gloucestershire.
