Though Agnes's father is not named in the Visitation, she was more than likely a member of the Bray family residing at Treswithian in Camborne. William Bray of this family, aged 22 in 1620 and dying in Camborne in 1659, appears in a number of secondary sources as the father of Agnes Bray, though William does not appear to have married and he has no recorded children. It is more likely that Agnes was the unnamed daughter of Henry Bray (elder brother of William), christened 21 Feb 1630/1 in Camborne.
