  Research Notes:

The Visitation of Cornwall shows the wife of George Bray as Elizabeth, daughter of Henry Danvers of Dancy [Dauntsey] in Com. Wilts, second brother to Sir John Danvers. The Visitation gives Elizabeth's burial date as 22 Aug 1622. On checking the Camborne Register (burials), it turns out this is the burial date for Ann Bray, wife of George Bray, gent., not Elizabeth Bray. An Ellyzabeth Bree, wife of Mr. George Bree, was buried in Camborne 27 May 1601. Given Bree was an orthographic variation of Bray(e), and George Bray married Anne in 1589, another George Bray, probably belonging to the same extended family, must have married an Elizabeth who may or may not have been of the Danvers family of Dauntsey in Wiltshire, despite the fact that in the Danver pedigree, Henry is not shown to have had a daughter Elizabeth (which doesn't mean that he didn't). Henry Danvers's only listed daughter Anna married Henry Bayliffe of Monckton and their youngest child was born about 1612.
