In September 1899, at the Donald Show in Victoria, Jane won:
- First Prize of £1 for 28 lbs. cheese
- First Prize of £2 for the best collection of Dairy Produce
- Second Prize 2/6d for 12 Home-made Yeast Buns
- 10/6d for 3 lbs. Powdered Butter and plain rolls.

In September 1900, again at the Donald Show, Jane carried off the First and Second Prizes for the Best Collection of Dairy Produce. She received 2 guineas (Colonial Bank) for First Prize and 1 guinea for Second Prize (donated by Mrs. Furze).

Died age 86 years. 4
