In 1861 Elizabeth Stone, aged 17, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, was working as a dairymaid for farmers James & Martha Nicholls in Treleage, Ruan Minor.

In 1871 Elizabeth A. Harris, aged 27, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, and husband Edwin Harris, aged 39, born in Mawgan, gardener, were living in Gear, St. Martin in Meneage Cornwall. With them were children (born in St. Martin) Laura (2), Hori (10 mo), Elizabeth's mother Elizabeth Stone (69) of Ruan Minor, widow, annuitant.

In 1881 Elizabeth Harris, aged 37, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, and husband Edwin Harris, aged 49, born in Mawgan Cornwall, gardener, were living in Lodge, St. Martin in Meneage Cornwall. Present were children (born in St. Martin) Laura (12), scholar, Horie (10), scholar, Clara (7), scholar, Bessie (2) and Lawson (2 mo).

In 1891 Elizabeth A. Harris, aged 47, born in Ruan Major Cornwall, and husband Edwin Harris, aged 59, born in Mawgan Cornwall, gardener, were living in Carvallack Lodge, St. Martin in Meneage Cornwall. With them were children (born in St. Martin) Laura (22), housekeeper's assistant, Hori (20), carpenter, Bessie (12), scholar, and Lawson (10), scholar.

In May 1899 Elizabeth Ann Harris, widow, was granted Administration of her late husband's personal effects.

In 1901 Elizabeth Harris, aged 57, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, widow, living on own means, was living in Carvallack Lodge, St. Martin in Meneage Cornwall. With her was daughter Bessie (22) of St. Martin, single, living on own means.

In 1911 Elizabeth Harris, aged 67, born in Ruan Minor Cornwall, widow (mother of 6 children, 3 deceased), independent means, was living in Carvallack Lodge, St. Martin in Meneage Cornwall. With her was daughter Bessie (32) of St. Martin, independent means.
