Writing his will in November 1788 William Amerson of Ruan Minor left 5 shillings to Catherine, daughter of his late brother Robert Amerson.
In 1841 Catherine Cade, aged about 70, born in the county, was living in Meneage Street, Helston Cornwall. At the same address were (sons) Walter (35), mason, and Robert (30), mason.
In 1851 Catherine Cade, aged 82, born in Grade Cornwall, widow, householder, was living in Meneage Street, Helston. With her were sons (born in Ruan) Walter (46), widower, stone mason, and Robert (43), unmarried, stone mason. Visiting were John Mitchell (38) of Grade, cordwainer, his wife Mary Ann (36) of Helston, and their daughters Catherine Mitchell (10), scholar, and Leonora (2), both born in Ruan.
In November 1852 Catherine Cade was granted Administration of the goods and chattels of her late son Walter Cade.
