In Aug 1912 Frank Avis was present at the marriage of his sister Edith Mary Avis to William Thomas Ashford in Wadhurst Sussex.
In the 1939 Register Frank Avis (b. 28 May 1888), jobbing gardener, and wife Lucy E Avis (b. 7 Sep 1888), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 3 Manor Bank, Wadhurst, Sussex. At the same address were [sons] Thomas G Avis (b. 18 Nov 1923), at school, and [one record officially closed].
