Robert Bathe was bequeathed 20 shillings in the Will of his maternal grandmother, Margery Skeate (written 1604).
In the Will of his paternal grandmother, Joane Bathe of Wootton Bassett, widow, Robert was bequeathed the tableboard and the frame/forme in the hall of her house (1620).
In 1639 Robert Bathe was one of the overseers of the Will of his friend William Brinsden of Wootton Bassett, yeoman. This was most likely the same William Brinsden who with others took inventory of the goods and chattels of Robert's grandfather, Richard Bathe of Wootton Bassett, in 1615.
