In 1602 Richard Bath was one of the overseers of the Will of his father-in-law Robert Skeate of Wootton Bassett.

In 1604 Richard Bathe was named in the Will of his mother-in-law Margery Skeate of Wootton Bassett, widow, as father of Robert, John & Mary, and husband of Margery's daughter Ann.

In 1610 Richard Bathe was named in the Will of John Wheeler of Greenhill in the parish of Wootton Bassett who bequeathed each of his children a sheep. Richard, his wife Anne, and Richard's brother William, were all witnesses to John Wheeler's Will.

In 1614 Richard Baath was one of those who took inventory of the goods & chattels of Margaret Wheeler of Wootton Bassett, widow, deceased.

In 1615 Richard Bathe of Wootton Bassett, yeoman, and his brother-in-law Richard Curtis of Wootton Bassett paid bond for Administration of his father's goods and chattels which was granted to Richard's mother in April of that year.

In 1620 Richard Bathe was nominated as one of the overseers of his mother's Will.
