In September 1759 Nevill Maskelyne of Wichwood Forest in co. Oxon, gamekeeper, was granted Administration of his late mother's personal effects.

Gives and devises to his sister Hester Maskelyne his freehold and leasehold messuages and lands in the parish of Wootton in the county of Wilts, for the term of her natural life. After her death he wills the same to his two brothers Jasper and James Maskelyne as tenants in common. And after their decease he gives the same to his nephew Edmund Maskelyne son of Edmund.
All the rest of his personal estate he gives to his sister Hester whom he appoints sole executrix of his last will and testament.
