Abstract of the Will of Hester Bristed of Dorchester in the County of Dorset, Widow and Relict of the Reverend Nathaniel Bristed late of Bishop's Caundle, Clerk, written 31 Oct 1818, proved 31 Aug 1819. 4
Gives and devises her freehold tenement, closes of land, hereditaments and premises in Broadmarston in co. Somerset to her daughter Jane Bristed.
Gives and bequeaths £300 each of Old South Sea annuities to her sons the Rev. John Charles Bristed and John Bristed.
Gives £600 of Old South Sea annuities to her daughter Jane Bristed, the interest and dividends from £300 of which she gives to her daughter-in-law Prudence Jane the wife of Mr. James Redit, and the interest and dividends from the other £300 she gives to her daughter Hester the wife of Benjamin Bowring.
All the rest of her real and personal estate, monies, securities for money, goods and chattels, she gives and bequeaths to her daughter Jane Bristed whom she appoints sole executrix of her will.
