At the time of the 1861 Wales Census Mary Williams, aged 28, born in Tonbridge Wells Kent, and husband Roderick Williams, aged 35, born in Llanbadarnfawr, builder, were living in King Street, Aberystwyth. With them were children (born in Aberystwyth): Robert Edward (7), Thomas Richard (5), Roderick Edwin (4), Eliza Ann (2) and Richard Page (1).
