In June 1736 Samuel Cramp and John Paine appraised the inventory of the late Thomas Woodroffe of Catsfield, bricklayer. Also in this month Samuel Cramp and Nicholas Maynard appraised the inventory of the late John Brotherton of Crowhurst, farmer.
In 1737 Samuel Cramp was the sole executor and one of the residuary legatees of his father's Will.
In April 1738 Samuel Cramp and Bexhill and John Smith of Bexhill appraised the inventory of the late William Sharp of Bexhill.
In August 1738 Samuel Cramp and William Budd appraised the inventory of the late John Breet of Bexhill, yeoman.

Abstract of the Will of Samuel Cramp of All Saints Hastings in the County of Sussex, Gentleman, written 25 Oct 1756, proved 22 Oct 1763. 5
Gives and bequeaths 40 shillings to the poor of the parish of Bexhill.
Gives and bequeaths £50 to his wife Ann Cramp, along with his plate, linen and household goods in his dwelling house in Hastings. He also devises and bequeaths to his said wife for the term of her natural life his tenement, barn and lands containing about 30 acres in Bexhill called Redham in Clinch Green currently occupied by Thomas Coleman or his assigns. After her decease he gives and devises the same to his eldest son William Cramp and to his brother-in-law Thomas Duke of Bexhill, yeoman, in Trust, to sell the same and the money therefrom to go to his said son William Cramp and his other children, share and share alike.
Gives and bequeaths £50 each to his son Thomas Cramp and to his daughter Ann the wife of Isaac Lansdell.
All the rest and residue of his estate he gives to all his children, to be equally divided among them.
Makes his son William Cramp and his brother-in-law Thomas Duke co-executors of his last will and testament, giving them 50 shillings each for their efforts.
Appoints Arthur Brooke of Bexhill, gentleman, and Thomas Stunt of Bexhill, yeoman, trustees of his will, giving them 20 shillings each in remembrance of him.
