In 1749 Richard Bristed of Warbleton, Gent. made bequests to the children of his deceased cousin Sarah. As her children were minors at the time, their shares were paid to their uncle (her brother) Richard Bristed for their use.
Writing his Will in 1796 Sarah's brother, Richard Bristed of Warbleton, yeoman, named his sister Sarah as deceased when making bequests to her sons Thomas Swatland and Samuel Swatland.
