Writing his Will in Apr 1776 Richard Jackson of Ardingly bequeathed £50 to his niece Sarah the wife of Thomas Gower of Lindfield, cordwainer.
In her mother's Will, written Nov 1780, Sarah the wife of Thomas Gower of Lindfield, cordwainer, was bequeathed £10 as well as her mother's diamond ring, her best gown, her best petticoat, and best cardinal.
In 1828 Sarah Gower was co-executor of her husband's Will.
