At the time of the 1881 England Census Mary Billenness, age 26, born in Brightling Sussex, and husband William R Billenness, age 24, born in Coxheath Kent, carpenter & joiner, were living at 54 Melville Rd., Maidstone Kent. With them were children (born in Maidstone): Frederick W (4), Agnes A (2) and Gertrude M (11 months).
At the time of the 1891 England Census Mary Belleness, age 36, born in Robertsbridge Sussex, and husband William Belleness, age 33, born in Coxheath Kent, carpenter & joiner, were living at 1 Priory Road, Maidstone Kent. At the time of the 1911 Canada Census Mary Billeness, born Mar 1857 [sic] in England, and husband William Billeness, born Apr 1857 in England, carpenter, were lodging with their daughter Gertrude Redhead and her family at 169 Markham St., Toronto Centre, Ontario, Canada.
Probably the same Mary Billeness who arrived in England from Canada in 1919 shortly following her husband's death.
In the 1939 Register presumably this Mary Billenness (b. ? ? 1856), widow, was an incapacitated patient at Tooting Bec Hospital, Tooting London.

Mary Billenness died aged 86 years. 3
