At the time of the 1901 England Census Laura Carey, age 18, born in Arundel Sussex, was with her parents in Park Place, Arundel Sussex.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Laura Carver, age 28, born in Arundel Sussex (mother of 1 child), and husband of 2 years Edward Carver, age 30, born in Sutton Sussex, bricklayer, were living at 210 Park Street Luton Beds. With them were daughter Dorothy (1) of Luton Beds., and Laura parents Alfred Carey (59) of Lewes Sussex, blacksmith, and Louisa Carey (59) of Portsmouth Hants.

In the 1939 Register Laura H Carver (b.16 Nov 1883*), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Edward L Carver (b. 13 Mar 1881), bricklayer, were living at 204 Park Street, Luton, Bedfordshire. At the same address were [daughter] Norah Carver (b. 28 Jul 1920), motor engineer's stenographer, and [Laura's father] Alfred A Carey (b. 16 Nov 1852**), widowed, motor engineer (retired).

In Oct 1959 Laura Haines Carver, widow, was granted Probate of the personal effects of her late brother Sidney Arthur Carey of Bedford.
