Béatrice de Ramerupt 1
- Born: Abt 1051, Montdidier, Picardy, France
- Married: Abt 1072, Picardy, France
- Died: 2 September, after 1129
Research Notes:
The Genealogiæ Scriptoris Fusniacensis names "comitis Hilduini de Rameruth maior natu filia dicta Beatrix" as wife, also incorrectly, of "Rotaldo comiti de Pertica". She is named as wife of Geoffroy Comte du Perche by Orderic Vitalis, incorrectly saying that she was daughter of "the count of Rochefort" and specifying in another passage that her son Rotrou was consanguineus of Alfonso I King of Aragon. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "Beatrix" as second daughter of Hilduin Comte de Roucy and incorrectly names her husband "Rotroldo comiti de Pertico". 2
Marriage Information:
Béatrice married Geoffroy de Châteaudun, comte du Perche et de Mortagne, son of Rotrou, vicomte de Châteaudun, comte de Mortagne and Adelise de Bellême, about 1072 in Picardy, France. (Geoffroy de Châteaudun was born about 1054 in Normandy, France and died in Oct 1100.) |
