Routrou II DU PERCHE comte du Perche

   General Notes:

He went on the First Crusade in 1096. He went to Spain to help his cousin, Alfonso I, King of Navarre and Aragon, against the Moors between 1105 and 1114. He assisted Henry I at the siege of Belleme which he had long claimed as his hereditary right in 1114.

He died at the siege of the Tower of Rouen by Geoffrey Plantagenet.

Routrou married Ctse Maud DU PERCHE, daughter of Henri I 'Beauclerc' King of England and Edith, Mater Comitisse de Pertico, in 1102. (Ctse Maud DU PERCHE was born in 1086 in England and died on 25 Nov 1120 in Drowned in wreck of the White Ship along with Prince William.)

Routrou also married Havoise (Hawise) DE SALISBURY, daughter of Sir Walter Fitz Edward D' EVEREUX Sheriff of Wiltshire and Sibilla (Sybil) Maud DE CHAWORTH Heiress of Hesdin, before 1127. (Havoise (Hawise) DE SALISBURY was born in 1120 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England and died before 13 Jan 1152 in Braine, Aisne, Picardy, France.)
