General Notes:
He went on the First Crusade in 1096. He went to Spain to help his cousin, Alfonso I, King of Navarre and Aragon, against the Moors between 1105 and 1114. He assisted Henry I at the siege of Belleme which he had long claimed as his hereditary right in 1114.
He died at the siege of the Tower of Rouen by Geoffrey Plantagenet.
