Certain secondary sources (at Ancestry) show this John MOTLEY having married an Elizabeth Mary HALL. Other secondary sources refer to his wife simply as Elizabeth HALL. A John MOTLEY married Mary HALL on 22 May 1729 in Coningsby. The John MOTLEY who married Mary HALL was born in Coningsby in 1699. The John MOTLEY who married Elizabeth and the John MOTLEY who married Mary HALL are separate individuals, and someone has conflated Mary Hall and Elizabeth into one individual.
