In 1758 Catherine was named as a beneficiary in her father's will, to receive £1,500 when she turns twenty-one.
In 1801 Catherine Hawkins, widow, was the sole executrix and beneficiary of her husband's will.

Gives to her friends John Borlase and Humphry Millett Grylls, Gentlemen, her tenement of Tregajorran in the parish of Illogan in co. Cornwall, in trust, for the benefit of her niece Mary Ann Scott, the wife of Charles Scott, Gentleman. After the death of her niece she gives the same to Charles Scott her niece's son.
Gives £10 each to her said niece Mary Ann Stott and her children.
Gives £10 each to her niece Catherine Plomer and her children.
Gives £10 to her niece Harriet Pyne.
Gives £200 to her grandnephew the said Charles Scott.
Gives to her friend John Hawkins of Bignor Park in co. Sussex, Esquire, her two pair of silver candlesticks with her husband's crest on them.
Gives £5 to her servant Dorothy Eddy, along with the bed, bedding and furniture in the room where she normally sleeps, and a suit of mourning.
All the rest of her goods and chattels she gives to the said John Borlase and Humphry Millett Grylls, upon trust, for the benefit of her grandniece Frances Scott daughter of Mary Ann Scott.
Appoints her said trustees co-executors of her last will and testament.
