Abstract of the Will of John Trewren of Trewardreva in the County of Cornwall, Esquire, written 6 Mar 1758, proved 25 May 1759. 8
Gives to his wife an annuity of £100, to be paid out of his duchy estates in Wendron and barton of Trewardreva and Trebarva in Constantine.
Gives to his wife his dwelling house at Trewardreva, along with whatever household goods and furniture she needs, during the minority of his son Thomas.
Gives to his wife two horses and two cows.
Gives £1,500 to his daughter Catherine, to be paid to her when she turns twenty-one. In the meantime she is to receive an annuity of £40 for her maintenance. He also gives Catherine £500, to be paid to her following the death of his wife.
All the rest of his lands, tenements and hereditaments, goods, chattels and effects, he gives to his son Thomas and his heirs, appointing him sole executor of his last will and testament.
Nominates his wife Mary Trewren, William Usticke of the town of Penzance, merchant, and Thomas Glynn of the borough of Helston, Esquire, guardians of his will during the minority of his children.
