Abstract of the Will of Stephen Pendarvis of the Town of Padstow in the County of Cornwall, Merchant, written 25 Nov 1674, proved 4 Mar 1675, 2nd probate 2 Jan 1694. 4
Gives to his son Stephen Pendarves and his heirs all his hereditaments, tenements, lands, rents and services in the county of Cornwall, once he reaches the age of twenty-one years.
Gives to his wife Mary Pendarvis an annuity of £100 for the term of her natural life.
Gives £500 to his wife Mary along with the rents and profits from his estate during the minority of his son Stephen.
Gives £500 to his second son John Pendarves, to be paid when he marries or turns twenty-one.
Gives £600 to his eldest daughter Mary Pendarvis, to be paid when she marries or turns twenty-one.
Gives £500 to his daughter Lucretia Pendarvis, to be paid when she marries or turns twenty-one.
Givesto his brother Peter Pendarves and to his wife Katherin £20 between them for mourning.
Gives £10 to Katherin Pendarvis, eldest daughter of the said Peter Pendarvis.
Gives £5 to his sister Ann Jeffery.
Gives £20 to his nephew John Pendarvis.
Gives to his sister Sarah Pendarvis £10 to buy mourning.
Gives to his brother-in-law Thomas Cooke and to his wife Elizabeth £10 each to buy mourning.
Gives to his brother-in-law John Cooke £10 to buy mourning.
Gives to his aunt Elizabeth Yeats? 40 shillings to buy mourning.
All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his son Stephen Pendarvis whom he makes the sole executor of his last will and testament.
Appoints the said Peter Pendarves and Thomas Cooke overseers of his will.
