In 1825 Mary Sandys Grylls became a beneficiary of her father's will*, receiving £1,500.*

* The writer of the will incorrectly recorded Mary Sandys Grylls as John Trevenen's 'god-daughter.'

In 1829 Mary was a beneficiary of the will of her brother the Rev. John Trevenen, rector of Creed, receiving £1,000.

In 1851 Mary S. Grylls, aged 60, born in Helston Cornwall, married*, annuitant, was in Cambridge Street, Paddington, Middlesex. With her were daughters (born in Helston, unmarried) Charlotte (25), Emily (17), scholar, Hewliett [Harriett] (16), scholar.

* Mary was widowed, her husband having died in 1834.

In 1861 Mary S. Grylls, aged 70, born in Helston, widow, was with her daughter Harriet M. Trevenen and her family in Coinagehall St., Helston.
