DEATH.—The death occurred at the residence of his sister, Mrs. R. Rabey, Heanton-terrace, Redruth, on Wednesday last, of Mr. James Axford, who had arrived from South Africa the previous week. Deceased had spent many years in that country, and returned home twelve months ago, in somewhat impaired health. After a holiday his medical attendant advised his wintering in South Africa, but his return to that country was not attended with beneficial results, and he spent a portion of his time in the Johannesburg Hospital. On his final return home his condition was very serious, and rapidly sinking he passed away to the regret of a large number of friends. At the interment at the Cemetery on Sunday the Rev. W. Cuthbert officiated, and the mourners present were Mrs. Rabey (sister), Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Skinner (nephew and niece), Ernest and Martin Rabey (nephews), Miss Ethel Rabey (niece), Mrs. Warren (sister-in-law), Messrs. Martin Rabey, W. J. Rabey, T. Chappell, W. Hollow, Banfield, F. Hawke, W. Lukes (Truro), J. Ellery, and .... members of "Boscawen" Lodge of Freemasons, of which deceased was a member....
