With them were son-in-law Richard J. Rabey (33) of Gwennap, coal merchant, daughter Mary J. Rabey (30) of Redruth, married, grandchildren (born in Gwennap): Louie Rabey (5), scholar, Ethel Rabey (4), scholar, Richard E. Rabey (2), Martin (10 months)
In 1901 Mary Axford, aged 64, born in St. Agnes, and husband James Axford, aged 68, born in Gwennap, and wife were staying with their widowed daughter Mary Rabey and her family in Green Lane, Redruth.
In 1911 Mary Axford, aged 74, born in St. Agnes, widow, was with her widowed daughter Mary Rabey and her family at 14 Addison Road, Plymouth Devon.

THE FUNERAL OF MRS. MARY AXFORD, who died at 14, Addison-road, Plymouth, took place at Redruth Cemetery on Wednesday. The body was removed by rail to Redruth, where, prior to the interment, a service was held in the Wesley Church, conducted by Rev. C. Stachbery and Mr. G. Burrells, Town Missioner, who also officiated at the graveside. On entering the cemetery the coffin was borne to the grave by members of deceased's mission class at Redruth. The mourners were Mrs. M. Rabey (daughter), Messrs. M. and E. Rabey (grandsons), Mrs. E. Skinner (grand-daughter), Mrs. F. Hawke (Truro), Messrs. E. Skinner, M. Rabey, T. Chappel (Mount Ambrose), W. J. Rabey and F. Hawke (Truro).
