In 1921 John Alexander Vivian, aged 51 years 5 months, born in Gwennap, formerly electrician but being unemployed starting business (broker), and wife Elizabeth Vivian, aged 47 years 2 months, born in Helston Cornwall, were living in Basset Street, Camborne. With them were children Alexandria (20) of Pachuca Mexico, Elizabeth (14y 4m) of Pachuca, and John Alexander (7y 5m) of Camborne.

The death occurred at Cross-street, Camborne, on Saturday, of Mr. John Alexander Vivian, aged 70. Mr. Vivian, who was an electrical engineer, was a member of Mount Edgcumbe Lodge of Freemasons (No. 1544, Camborne) and St. Meriadoc Chapter of Royal Arch Masons (No. 1544, Camborne), and a P.M. of Mexico Lodge (No. 246), his mother lodge. He was associated with Camborne Parish Church, the Literary Institution, and the Fellowship Class conducted by Mr. C. V. Thomas at the Smith Institute.

LATE MR. J. A. VIVIAN, CAMBORNE.
The funeral took place at Camborne Parish Church yesterday, the Rev. R. E. Marsden (curate) officiating, of Mr. John Alexander Vivian, aged 70, of Cross-street, Camborne, formerly electrician at Tolvaddon, East Pool, tin streams and a member of the Mount Edgcumb Lodge of Freemasons.
The mourners were Mr. A. J. Vivian and Miss A. Vivian (son and daughter), Messrs. R. J. Dunstan, T. J. and W. Pryor (nephews), Miss G. Gundry (sister-in-law), Mr. J. Gundry, and Mrs. J. James (cousins), Messrs. C. Haly, R. Stephens, W. Trevethan, H. Angove, W. H. Gay, J. Trebilcock, J. Reynolds, and E. R. Jones....
