In 1921 Edgar Foster Vivian, aged 37 years 11 months, born in St. Agnes, single, temporary clerk for civil service, was living at 12 College Road, Willesden, Middlesex. With him were mother Emma Louise Rebecca Vivian (70y 2m) of Camborne, widow, and sister Emma Ethel Vivian (37) of St. Agnes, single, chemist's assistant.

In January 1926 Edgar Foster Vivian, temporary civil servant, was granted Probate of the personal effects of his late sister Emma Ethel Vivian.

In the 1939 Register Edgar F Vivian (b. 17 Jul 1883), civil servant, clerical officer, Board of Trade, and wife Edna F Vivian (b. 8 Oct 1905), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 29 Tennyson Avenue, Twickenham, Middlesex.
