In 1891 Emma Vivian, aged 39, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband Joseph Vivian, aged 44, born in Illogan Cornwall, mine agent, were living in Vicarage Road, St. Agnes. With them were children Joseph C. (13) of Camborne, scholar, and (born in St. Agnes) William A. (8), scholar, Edgar F. (7), scholar, Emma E. (6), scholar, and George S. (5), scholar.

In 1901 Emma Vivian, aged 47, born in Camborne, widow, was living at 7 Barwis Hill, Penzance, Cornwall. With her were children (born in St. Agnes) William (18), Foster (17), auctioneer's clerk, Ethel (16) and Stuart (15), printer's apprentice.

In 1921 Emma Louisa Rebecca Vivian, aged 70 years 2 months, born in Camborne, widow, was with her son Edgar Foster Vivian at 12 College Road, Willesden, Middlesex.
