In 1891 Albert M. Vivian, aged 17, born in St. Neot, Cornwall, single, blacksmith, was with his parents at Town Hill, St. Agnes, Cornwall.

In March 1895 Albert Marshall Vivian was present at the marriage of his brother Andrew Vivian to Emma Jane Willcocks in St. Agnes, Cornwall.

Albert and his family spent spent over a decade in Michigan, USA, Albert having travelled to New York with his brother Andrew in 1901.

At the time of the 1910 U.S. Federal Census Albert M. Vivian, aged 36, born in England, blacksmith, and wife of 9 years Edith M. Vivian, aged 36, born in England (mother of 3 children, 1 deceased), were living in Adams, Houghton, Michigan. With them was son Stuart M. (4) of Michigan.

Albert Vivian, blacksmith, and his wife Edith, both aged 40, and their children Steward (8) and George (5), arrived in Plymouth England from New York USA on 11 Jul 1914 aboard the vessel Oceanic. 5

In 1921 Albert M. Vivian, aged 47 years 4 months, born in St. Neot Cornwall, machine drill sharpener, and wife Edith M. Vivian, aged 47 years 11 months, born in St. Agnes, home duties, were living in Lanivet, Cornwall, England. With them were children Stuart M (15y 6m) of Michigan, USA, helping farmer, George A (12y 7m) of Michigan, school, Mollie (6y 5m) of St. Newlyn East, school. Visiting was (sister) Annie Vivian (42y 2m) of Camborne, single, housekeeper.

In the 1939 Register Albert M Vivian (b. 29 Jan 1874), road stone quarry foreman, and wife Edith M Vivian (b. 12 Jul 1873), incapacitated, were living in Hill Side Bugford, Morchard Bishop, Devon. At the same address was (daughter) Edith May Vivian (b. 20 Jan 1915), single, elementary school teacher.
