In 1851 Eliza Hosking, aged 28, born in Penzance Cornwall, and husband Richard Joseph Hosking, aged 34, born in Penzance, wharfinger's clerk, were living at 11 Grosvenor Park North, St. Peter Walworth, Newington, Surrey. With them were children Richard (5) of St. Mary Newington in Surrey, scholar at home, Mary (1) of St. Mary Newington, Robert (8 months) of Croydon in Surrey. Eliza's youngest sister Ellen Branwell (21) of Penzance, annuitant, was visiting.
In 1861 Eliza Hosking, aged 38, born in Penzance, and husband Richard J. Hosking, aged 44, born in Penzance, proprietor of houses and lands, were living in Brook Cottage, Madron, Cornwall. With them were children Richard (15) of Newington Surrey, scholar, Mary (11) of Newington Surrey, scholar, Robert (10) of Norwood Surrey, scholar, and Anne Eliza (8) of Newington Surrey, scholar.
In 1871 Eliza Hosking, aged 48, born in Penzance, and husband Richard J. Hosking, aged 54, born in Penzance, merchant & land owner, were living in Brook Cottage, Madron. With them were children Richard (25), lawyer's clerk, Mary (21), Robert (20), and Ann (18).
In 1881 Eliza Hosking, aged 58, born in Penzance, and husband Richard J. Hosking, aged 64, born in Penzance, income from houses and land, were living in Tranack, Brook Cottage, Madron. Present were children Richard (35) of Camberwell Surrey, solicitor's general clerk, and Mary (31), Ann E. (28).
In 1891 Eliza Hosking, aged 68, born in Penzance, and husband Richard J. Hosking, aged 74, born in Penzance, retired wharf manager, were in Brook Cottage, Madron. With them were children Richard (45) of Newington Surrey, accountant, Mary (41), and Annie E. (38).
