In 1822 Philip Vincent was named as a beneficiary of his father's will, to receive £50 twelve months following his father's decease.

In 1841 Philip Vincent, aged about 50, born in the county, surgeon, and wife Elizabeth Vincent, aged about 40, born in the county, were living in Town, Camborne, Cornwall. With them were children: Charlotte (15), Philip (12), and Caroline (10).

In 1851 Philip Vincent, aged 60, born in Camborne, General Practitioner before 1815, and wife Eliza Vincent, aged 52, born in Gulval cornwall, were living in New Road, Camborne. With them were daughters (born in Camborne): Harriet (27), Johana (23), and Caroline (19).

At Camborne, after a very short illness, Philip Vincent, Esq., surgeon, aged 68 years, sincerely beloved and deeply regretted by a very large circle of relatives and friends. In his long and arduous practice as a medical man, his professional skill was not more highly appreciated by his patients and their friends, than were his uniform Christian deportment—his geniality of manner—and his kindness of heart: and the fact of his having assisted at the births of considerably over 15,000 children may be mentioned as a proof of how extensive and laborious his practice was.
