In 1851 Richard E. Tippett, aged 50, born in St. Erth Cornwall, solicitor, and wife Caroline Tippett, aged 45, born in St. Anthony-in-Meneage Cornwall, were living at Alverton Terrace, Madron, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Marazion) Richard E. (14), scholar, Charles (13), scholar, Albert V. (10), scholar, James V. (9), scholar, and Mary M. (5).
In 1861 Richard E. Tippett, aged 60, born in St. Erth, solicitor, and wife Caroline Tippett, aged 55, born in St. Anthony-in-Meneage, were living at Alverton Terrace, Madron. With them were daughter Mary M. (15) of Marazion, daughter-in-law Mary A. R. Tippett (21) of Eccington Derbyshire, widow, grandson Richard E. Tippett (1) of Bombay, East Indies.
