In 1881 Susan Gregory, aged 38, born in St. Pancras London, and husband William A. Gregory, aged 47, born in Chapel Firth, Derbyshire, brick mason & merchant, employing 80 men and 10 boys, were living at 30 Montpellier Crescent, Brighton, Sussex. Present were daughter Maude (11) of Paddington, scholar, nephew Vivian E. Davenport (10) of Lancaster Gate, London, scholar.
