In 1851, Edward Hodge (48) of Wendron, ag. lab., and wife Mary (47) of Gunwalloe, were living in Chyanvounder, Gunwalloe. Present were sons (born in Gunwalloe): Jacob (13), out door labourer, and Edward J. (1)
In 1861, Edward Hodge (58) of Gunwalloe [sic], ag. lab., and wife Mary (56) of Gunwalloe, were living in Chyanvounder Village, Gunwalloe. Present were sons (born in Gunwalloe): Jacob (24), carpenter, Edward J. (11), scholar, sister-in-law Ann Thomas (73) of Sithney, unmarried, annuitant

Edward Hodge of Prase Crowan died aged 86 years [sic]. Closer to 91 years. Note: No other Edward Hodge is recorded in either the GROE Death Index or Gunwalloe parish register, such that the age given by the informant would appear to be incorrect.
